This particular facility was re-designated as a teleportational destination by the combine, simply because it required the least amount of re-fitting.After Gordon Freemans heroic efforts led to a Human insurrection, the facility was re-captured and turned into an anti-insurgent Combine training facility.You are here. Comments ======== I tried to knock a map out in a month, (i.e. my hiatus from work in may 2007), but alas, I just cant do it. I can't bring myself to release crappy maps. I am going to stick to the name dm_hiatus though, as I think it's easy to remember. This is my attempt to bring killboxers and great mappers together in a simple yet detailed environment. ======== Credits ======== Many thanks are due to [FF]ELITE.LoRdNiTrO for his great ideas after helping me with early run throughs.And, as always, the good folks at the snarkpit for their valuable input.(Mostly reaper47 for his custom textures,thanks a ton reaper.) Change log for beta 8: ========= Re-structured several areas in the interest of gameplay. Improved connectivity. Changelog for beta 9 ========= Re-vamped map sounds to hopefully correct certain Linux server crashes.(added source path names and ".wav" at end of each one I noticed since I did this all the other sound parameters seemed to work more accurately, i.e., volume and distance. Changelog for beta 10 ========= Removed the spinning red lights at each of the arched teleporters. Frame rates went up an average of 40 FPS!!!!!!!! I hope this fixes the crashing issue with Linux. Change log for beta 11 ========= Added final area in outer ring. Fixed Linux crashes finally! (Thanks to FF[Fndr]Jake_Brake for that one). Change log for the final Added final "Exit" area. Fixed several prop_physics issues.let it also be known that on this date(12/22/1907) I was accepted into the FF Clan as a family member. I am greatful to everybody therein for their support.
