Game is capture the flag. Get the enemy flag and bring in to your capture point located in your teams sniper deck. A staircase to the side of your spawn goes up to the sniper deck. There's also an other staircase to the side of your other spawn that goes down to the water tunnel as an alternate rout to each others bases.

I got the idea for this map from a design problem on the map 'well' where a team of good snipers could sit on the top of their base and pick almost everyone off as soon as the door opens.  well works too much in favor of snipers due to the lack of alternate direct routs and cover basically forcing enemies of a different class put them selves directly in the snipers aim to get to the enemy base. In a vulnerability comparison sniper over dominates in such circumstances because of the wide openness and distance. Rockets,nails and shotguns loose effectiveness over distance, the sniper's weapons  do not. Without an indirect approach, 70-90% of the time snipers can pick you off before you can get close enough to have a more effective shot at them.

Xbase_night is suppose to be more balanced for all classes and more play friendly for differences in players skill levels.
