Disco Party 1.1

This is a singleplayer map. Therefore, in order to run it, follow these procedures:

Place the .bsp file in the Half-Life\Valve\Maps folder to begin. Then you need to start the map.

First method - Click on Start, Run, and then enter with quotations "C:\Sierra\Half-Life\hl.exe" +map discoparty1 or where ever you have installed Half-Life. The quotations are important for making the parameters work, so don't forgot them!

Second method - Open the Half-Life console and enter "C:\Sierra\Half-Life\hl.exe" +map discoparty1 or where ever you have installed Half-Life.

Hitting enter for both methods should start the loading process.

-------------------------------------------

Now on to the fun stuff. :) You begin the level in a hallway with no weapons. Ahead you see a door and a couple of dead soldiers near it. Walking to the door, you open it and -- SURPRISE! You've just stumbled upon a place in the Black Mesa Research Facility where scientists, monsters, marines, assassins, and security guards have come to take a break from running around killing each other. The disco ball, strobe lights, and punch table with a drunken scientist lying on top are just a few of the things you'll find. You may come across a crowbar as well.

Once you're bored with the party room, feel free to exit into the other hall and participate in a standoff between marines and aliens. Don't forget to go by the security guard; he can give you a good revolver to handle all those nasty enemies. There are also some crates that contain batteries for your HEV suit and some goodies in a couple of metal boxes.

Once the standoff's over, you may move on throughout the level. You should eventually make it back to that metal door you start off by. Don't forget to look for hidden weapons and things I've scattered around the map. ;)

Notes

- You can find plenty of things to do in this level. I found that it was hilarious to whack a dancing marine in the head and make him bellow, "Is that all you've got?!" Lol!

- The drink machine at the end of the second hall is based on the one in the Vending Machine tutorial example map by Vassy. All I did was change the texture.
