--HOW TO INSTALL IT--
---------------------
To install this patch simply overwrite the progs.dat file
in your matrix directory with the one inside this zip file.

----------------
--WHAT IT DOES--
----------------
This patch simply fixes a few bugs in 0.5...

In singleplayer:
--The player model won't default back to Neo on level change.
(If it has been changed to something else using the quick menu)

In multiplayer:
--The player model won't default back to Neo on respawn

--More than one player coming out of bullettime at the same time will
no longer result in the game becoming "stucK" in bullettime.

In General:
--Opening the Multiplayer menu when running in low resultions will no longer crash quake.

----------------
--OTHER ISSUES--
----------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Problem: Quake Matrix won't run when using DOS Quake (Quake.exe)
--------------
Fix: If you are in windows we recommend using winquake.exe, if you can't run this you need to use the following command line...
If you are in windows: quake.exe -game matrix -winmem 32
If you are in DOS: quake.exe -game matrix -heapsize 32000
In the windows command line "32" is the amount of memory Quake will use, in megabytes. If it still wont work try increasing this number.
In the DOS command line "32000" is the amount of memory Quake will use, in kilabytes. If it still wont work try increasing this number.

If you do not have 32MB of RAM, you can trymaking this amount smaller, but if you reduce it too much it doesnt fix the problem.

Problem: A lot of people have been asking what the impulse commands that need binding are, if they can't use the matrix executable.
--------------
Fix:

This information is in the file QMHELP.CHM if you are using windows, along with some other stuff.

If you can't open this file the command information is:

Quake Matrix being a modification and all has a few of it's own new bind-able commands. To rebind a command, at the console type:
bind (key) "command"

Matrix Jump: impulse 22
Open/Close Menu: impulse 23
Menu Down: impulse 24
Menu Up: impulse 25
Menu Select: impulse 26
Slow down time: +slowmo

If you need some more clearer explanation of binding, basically your assigning a function to a key/button. So say if i wanted it so everytime I pressed 'Y' to perform the Matrix Jump I would type the following in the console:

bind y "impulse 22"

If done correctly it should work fine. Just ask in our forums for further help concerning Bind commands in Quake Matrix.

Note: All these commands can be easily done in the Customise Controls menu, this is just an alternate way.
